The differential has gone in. The wasn't too bad a job, but I had to get some spacers made up to fill the gaps between the chassis and front mounting points. Thanks again Paul ! He made a couple of nice stainless steel spacers for me.
I tried fitting the DeDion unit, but discovered that I'll have to grind quite a bit off the top of the diff. The DeDion will still land onthe diff when there is no load on the car, but Jim reckons that this is OK and it'll never touch in use, unless you welly it over a humpbacked bridge ! Think I might try and find a bit of rubber to fit on the bottom of the DeDion anyway.
